EVENT IS OVER ~
SEE YOU IN 2025!!

SATURDAY
OCTOBER 12, 2024

Come and compete in the 8th annual “California Fly Fishing Open” in Kernville, CA - the mighty Kern River!

One of our many goals as a fly fishing club is to give back to the community. We created the California Fly Fishing Open with the hope of building stronger ties with fishy fly-fishing folks while also giving back to such an amazing community.

PRE-TOURNEY POKER NIGHT | FRIDAY (6PM-SOCIAL) + (7PM-GAMING)
The CFFO weekend, of sorts, consists of a Friday evening “Poker Night” to raise funds for the “Kid’s Academy” where kids attend a 1-day “catch-all” fishing school, lead by the SSFF club members and friends! As participants start rolling into town, they can grab dinner then head on over to the Kernville Saloon for a great time for a good cause.

OFFICIAL CFFO 2024 | SATURDAY 7AM-2PM
Then on Saturday morning, the jewel in the crown, the official “California Fly Fishing Open” tournament begins. This year’s entry net proceeds will benefit
Casting for Recovery SoCal and Kern Valley Search and Rescue.

POST TOURNEY FESTIVITIES | SATURDAY 4PM-9PM
Saturday, late afternoon/early evening, at the Rivernook Campground, where the festivities are located, we will have many vendors and opportunities to try fly fishing gear, ask questions from reps and visit booths which include Casting for Recovery and the Kern Valley Search and rescue team members.

WE LOVE OUR VENDORS!
