BEGINNERS ROD BUILDING CLASS

Cost: $130 for basic rod and all the above tools and supplies. Any upgrade costs will be due at the beginning of class. Upgrade selections will need to be done by Dec. 20th to provide time to order and ship. Class Breakdown: This class includes everything you will need to build a custom rod. The cost of the class covers a basic 2 piece, 9 foot, 5 weight blank. Also included are: drying motor, wrapping jig, reel seat, cork handle, wind check, hook keeper, guides, tip top, burnishing tool, masking tape, white china marker, rod finish, thread, epoxy, scissors and tip top adhesive. You will have the option to upgrade to a 4 piece, different length or weight, depending upon availability at an additional cost. You will learn how to find the spine on your blank, how to attach the reel seat, cork handle, wind check, tip top and guides. You should be almost completed with your rod by the end of the class.
