Excerpt: Pack mules are scheduled to pack in the groups’ gear, including work gear and tools, July 16 and haul out on July 20, (You can stay longer or cut the trip short but the pack animals are scheduled for only July 16 and 20.)

The entry point is Horseshoe Meadows, Lone Pine area, approximately 10K+ ft elevation. We enter the Golden Trout Wilderness and hike approx. 10 mi into Ramshaw.

We will arrive a day early to acclimate . There will be a designated campsite for us to meet.

Work days will be from 8:30AM-4:30PM with a lunch break. The work includes cutting barbed wire and spooling it (one or three at a time), removing T-posts and braces with T-post puller.

We will likely camp on a hill above the meadow floor adjacent to the creek. It is warmer and drier.

Individuals are responsible for their own sleeping equipment, food, bug spray, etc (sturdy long pants, long sleeves, and waterproof shoes recommended).
